There are several ways to support the Eagle Public Library.
Donations
Financial Donations
Financial donations made to the Eagle Public Library Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, support capital projects (such as a mobile library or building expansion) that are not funded by the City of Eagle. The Foundation may be reached by email at eaglepubliclibraryfoundation@gmail.com. Financial donations to the Foundation may be made through the Foundation’s donation portal, or by mail to Eagle Public Library Foundation, c/o Eagle Public Library, 100 Stierman Way, Eagle, Idaho 83616.
Financial donations made to the Friends of the Eagle Public Library, a 501(c)(3) organization, are used to support special classes and events (such as the Summer Reading Program). Monetary donations for the Friends may be mailed to: Friends of the Eagle Public Library, 100 Stierman Way, Eagle, Idaho 83616.
Material Donations
- Donations are accepted as described in the Eagle Public Library’s Donations Policy.
- Donations may be tax deductible and may qualify for a tax credit in Idaho.
- Donations of physical items (books, DVDs, CDs, etc) may be placed in the aluminum bin marked “Donations” located near the library’s loading dock area behind the library (see below). Receipts for donations are available from the Friends of the Eagle Public Library and are in the Donation bin (under the lid).
