The Library’s sewing machine is one of the most popular tools available in the Crafts and Hobbies Collection — so popular, that the Library now has a second machine available. The sewing machine can be reserved and may be borrowed for 28 days.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle is one of the newest games in the Library’s game collection. It’s a cooperative deck-building game for up to four students, in which each player takes on the role of a Hogwarts student (Harry, Ron, Hermione, or Neville). Players gain influence and add characters, spells, and magical items to their decks. Villains set back players with attacks and the Dark Arts. The players must work together to be defeat the villains and secure the Hogwarts from the forces of evil. I’m sure the game is fun because just opening the box is — everything you see will remind you of this or that Harry Potter movie. It looks as super cool as Exploding Snap. Want to reserve it?
Playable Art Ball
The Playable Art Ball is one of many items in the Library’s Memory Care Collection. It’s intended to keep hands busy and minds active through the never-ending shapes and color patterns that can be created.
The Memory Care Collection also has memory stimulators, puzzles, manipulatives, and games. The next time you’re in the Library, take a look.
No Thank You, Evil
The Library has hundreds of family games available to checkout. No Thank You, Evil is one of the newest. The description on the box describes it as a “game of make-believe for creative kids and their families” in which you’ll explore DragonSnot Falls, Castle Karaoke, Muttropolis, or the Dark Park. I don’t know if you can judge a game by it’s box, but the graphics make it look like it’s a lot of fun.
