Member Responsibilities

Your library card is for your use only. You agree to accept responsibility for all lost or damaged materials borrowed on your card or on the card(s) of your dependent child(ren).  You are responsible to report a lost card or change of address (including email) as soon as possible.

Most Eagle Public Library items may be borrowed for 28 days; the exceptions are New Books, DVDs, and hotspots, which may be borrowed for 14 days.

Your Eagle Public Library card is honored at the Ada, Boise, Caldwell, Garden City, Kuna, Meridian, Nampa, Emmett, Hailey, Mountain Home, and Twin Falls public libraries.

Items may be requested from, and returned to, your Eagle Public Library, as well as the Ada, Boise, Caldwell, Garden City, Kuna, Meridian, and Nampa public libraries.

Loan periods, fines, and borrowing restrictions are set by the library that owns the item.  Due dates may be found on the checkout receipt or by viewing your account online.

Replacement  costs and processing fees may be applied to your account for lost or damaged library materials.  The Library does not accept replacement copies as payment for lost or damaged items. Library service may be denied when an account accumulates more than $10.00 in fines or fees.  Delinquent accounts may be sent to a collection agency.  For a complete list of Eagle Public Library fees, see the City of Eagle fee schedule located at www.cityofeagle.org.
