   Slated to open Earth Day, April 22nd, the Library is establishing a seed collection, featuring some heirloom seeds. The collection, which will be started with the help of a variety of seed companies, will initially feature seed for vegetables from which seeds are easily harvested. Eagle Library customers will be able to check-out seeds to plant in their gardens. So, on Earth Day, stop by the Library, pick up a few seeds, and let the fun begin!

   May 22 - 6:30 PM - The City of Eagle's Historic Preservation celebrates Idaho Territory's sesquicentennial with this presentation featuring Ron Marshall and Shari Sharp. This free program is open to all.

   May 22 - 4:15 PM - Sharpen your sleuthing skills and solve this library whodunit! Organized and sponsored by EPL's Teen Advisory Board. For all teens.

   May 28th - 4:15 PM - Take a smooth river stone, some paint and a bit of imagination and create giant lady bugs and other insects to scatter around your garden. For elementary school age kids.

  Wednesdays at 4:00 PM - Children can increase their reading ability and confidence by reading to man's best friend from Helping Idaho Dogs. Registration required. Call 939-6814 Ext. 113.
